MA Multimedia Journalism Scholarships at University of Kent in UK, 2017

Applications are invited for MA Multimedia Journalism Scholarships at the University of Kent. These scholarships are open to UK/EU students which cover 50% of tuition fees.

The MA programme teaches multimedia journalism to graduates who are determined to pursue a career in the news industry.

The University of Kent is a public research university based in Kent, United Kingdom. It was founded in 1965 and is recognised as a plate glass university. The Centre for Journalism is leading the development of journalism as an academic discipline rooted in professional newsroom practice.

Students whose first language is not English, and who live/study in a non-majority English-speaking country are required to have an appropriate grade/score in an approved English language examination.

Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing MA programme.

Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded in the field of Multimedia Journalism.

Scholarship Award: The scholarships will cover 50% of tuition fees at the Home/EU rate for 1 year.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Minimum 2.1 or equivalent in a relevant academic subject (eg, politics, history, English, international relations) and demonstrable interest in and aptitude for journalism.

Test Requirement: Suitably qualified applicants will be invited for an interview and will be required to sit an entrance test.

English Language Requirement: Students whose first language is not English, and who live/study in a non-majority English-speaking country are required to have an appropriate grade/score in an approved English language examination.
